DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars! Athens Services will provide a free curbside pick-up for bulky waste and electronic waste on Saturday\, September 20\, 2025 \n\nBulky Waste: furniture\, appliances\, mattresses\, and similar large household items\nE-Waste: televisions\, computers\, monitors\, printers\, and other electronics\n\nAll items must be places at the curb – not in the street – by 6:00 AM on the morning of the event \n \n\n\n\n\n\nBulky Waste includes large items that do not fit into barrels or bins such as:  water heaters\, furnaces\, bed springs\, mattresses\, dressers\, couches\, washers\, dryers\, stoves\, tables\, chairs\, refrigerators (compressors removed)\, freezers\, air conditioners\, and patio furniture.  These items are to be placed curbside (not in the street). \nE-waste includes TV’s\, radios\, printers\, DVD Players\, computers\, monitors\, microwaves\, etc. For additional information on e-waste and e-waste collection\, please visit the E-waste webpage. \nNote: Hazardous waste\, batteries and fluorescent lights will be accepted at the 1st Quarter event only. SUMMARY:LBHOA Town Hall Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Lunada Bay Homeowners Association (LBHOA) Board of Directors is holding an open meeting in the Multipurpose Room at Lunada Bay Elementary School to provide an overview of recent activities organized by LBHOA and to solicit ideas and suggestions for new projects that might “maintain and improve the quality of life” in our unique community. \nA bit of background:  In the fall of 1999\, enthusiastic residents of the Lunada Bay community met and formed a committee to address their common goals. Noting that it takes a love of community\, respect for our surroundings\, and a willingness to work to improve the unique setting we live in\, founders said the role of the LBHOA should be to: \n\nMaintain and improve the quality of life in Lunada Bay and foster projects to achieve that goal\,\nPromote and encourage participation of residents in community activities and civic affairs\,\nBring to the attention of elected officials City matters that are important to our residents and offer suggested resolutions.\n\nFor over 20 years\, LBHOA volunteers have developed and participated in community-led projects that support these original goals. \nPlease join us on September 23.
