Carol Swets – Director (Incumbent)

After “retiring” from TRW, Carol carol-swets-300joined the world of volunteering. She was President of the Symphonians of the Music Center, PTA Treasurer, National Charity League Treasurer, and Miraleste Recreation and Parks District Treasurer (still on the Board). In her 15 years on the park board, the district has cleaned up park land, made the move to native and Mediterranean plantings and established a network of walking trails within the parkland.

Carol and her husband, Doug, like to spend time with their two travel and spend time with friends and family.

“ As the only candidate from Miraleste, I would like to continue to represent the members from Miraleste as well as the members from PVE. I am on the Board to maintain the high standards of the community in which we live that have been adhered to for 93 years. I bring more than 30 years of wide-ranging volunteer board experience, including 16 years as a Director of the Miraleste Recreation and Park District Board to the job.”
