MAUREEN MEGOWAN has been a long time sponsor of the Lunada Bay concert series. She is a Realtor with Remax Estate Properties and began her real estate career in 2003. She is among their top producing agents and is a member of the Remax Hall of Fame. Maureen, who has a strong background in design and sales, has a unique ability to help sellers prepare their property for sale, whether by simply staging their home or monitoring more extensive home improvements. She works tirelessly to insure buyers and sellers meet their real estate goals. She really listens to her clients, and strives to get to know them and their families to learn what their goals are and what is most important to them.
Maureen is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), and a Certified Palos Verdes Specialist, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, among others. Becoming a Realtor was a natural extension of her previous careers as a fashion designer, working in merchandising and sales to department and specialty stores nationwide and later, as an interior and home improvement consultant. Maureen has a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as an advanced degree in fashion design and merchandising.
Maureen and her husband Bruce have lived in the South Bay for forty years and in Lunada Bay for the last thirty one years, where they have raised three sons. Maureen is also a lover of local history, and with her husband Bruce, has published a compilation of articles on Palos Verdes and South Bay History titled “Historic Tales of Palos Verdes and the South Bay”, available at the Lunada Bay Hardware Store. They share a love for the Palos Verdes Peninsula and believe that it is truly one of the best places in the world to live and raise a family.
