Phillip Frengs – Candidate Statement:

“PVHA Board since 1997. Current President.

Spearheaded litigation defense, PVPUSD v. PVHA, resulting in affirmation of deed
restrictions on ALL school sites, preventing cash-starved PVPUSD from selling ANY
school property for real estate development.

Intimately involved in the John Harbison litigation against PVHA. Judgment is being appealed. Onerous judgment would have PVHA owner of parkland and be responsible for removing, creating expense beyond PVHA’s financial ability, increased liability – potentially cause assessment of PVHA members.

Election of PVHA directors is more than a referendum on litigation and its appeal. It’s
imperative that we have steady leadership at this time!”
