Doors Open Peninsula Celebration

On June 17th, 1923 a real estate rally was held on the grounds of the Malaga Cove School (now the PVPUSD Administration Building) to entice people to purchase property here. The rally drew over 32,000 people from all over the southland and is basically what launched the modern development of the Peninsula!
Doors Open Peninsula is a Peninsula-wide celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Peninsula and is spearheaded by the Palos Verdes Library District and the Peninsula Friends of the Library.
