The New Originals played their debut concert at the Lunada Bay Park on July 27, 2025, entertaining your friends and neighbors with an afternoon of dancing to the music from hits of the 70’s and 80’s.
As an annual part of the LBHOA Summer Concert-in-the-Park series, the Peninsula Symphonic Winds played to a large audience at the Palos Verdes High School quad. Peninsula Symphonic Winds (PSW) is a nonprofit ensemble formed in 1996, comprising semi-professional and seasoned amateur musicians. Directed by Mr. Justin Raines, they performed a variety of concert band music.
Java Wave is a relaxed, new coffee spot in Palos Verdes, proudly serving Intelligentsia and other high-quality beans along with small plates and baked goods. Acquired by a local who had their first job at St. Honore when she was 16, Beth is excited to revive the corner hangout as Java Wave. Here at the Lunada Bay Homeowners Association we have a rich history of supporting the LB community in various ways. This includes restoration projects, events such as the Harvest Festival, Concerts in the Park, Santa in the Park and sharing important local ballot measure information in a non-biased manner. The LBHOA Summer Concert Series is back! It’s time to dig out your picnic gear and dancing shoes! We have set our schedule for 2024, so mark your calendars!
All concerts, except for the Peninsula Symphonic Winds, will be in the Lunada Bay Park from 4 – 6 pm. The Peninsula Symphonic Winds, as usual, will be at Palos Verdes High School.

The LBHOA welcomed a visit by Santa in Lunada Bay Park on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. In addition to the visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, attendees enjoyed a snowy playground and a Trackless Train ride. A huge thank you to Guaranty Escrow, Dividend Growth Partners, and Lynn J.
