Guided NATURE WALK by Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy at White Point Nature Preserve, Saturday, November 11th, 9am.

Beauty of Nature Film Series:  The Central Park Effect presented by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Sunday, November 19th, 4:30pm, Warner Grand Theatre. 

Join us for the conclusion of the series with a documentary that transports the viewer to the dazzling, hidden world of America’s most famous city park.  Tickets $10 online at pvplc.org.  Youth 18 and under free.

Beauty of Nature Film Series Photos on the Big Screen

Birders take note! We are compiling photos for slideshow showcasing YOUR bird photographs for November 19 to be shown on the “Big Screen” at the Warner Grand Theatre. If you have bird photos that you would like to be included, please email up to 3 images to:  photo@pvplc.org. Please make sure they are in large format, at least 240 dpi and 1920 x 1200 pixels. Be sure to include your name, the location of the photo and species of bird, if known.

Beauty of Nature Film Series Student Videos on the Big Screen

Are you a student who loves filming VIDEOS?  You too can be featured on the big screen onNovember 19.  Please send us a 1- 2 minute video about what you love about nature, how nature impacts your life or what nature taught you. Send us your .mov or .mp4 file to photo@pvplc.org.  Please include your name and year in school.

Full Moon Hike at George F Canyon, Friday, November 3rd with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.  
Explore nocturnal sights with an expert naturalist under a full moon at the George F Canyon Nature Preserve.  Must be age 9 and up.  $12 per person.  RSVP requiredat www.pvplc.org, Events & Activities.

Outdoor Volunteer Day at Native Plant Nursery, Saturday, November 4th, 9am – 12pm.

Birding with Wild Birds Unlimited at White Point Nature Preserve, Wednesday, November 15th, 8:30am.
